lyrics

I saw you walk through the open door
There you were, you could hide no more
I waited long for this day to come
To embrace me like the sun

You never left even though you'd gone
I heard your voice many times before
Soft spoken in a time of war
You calmed me down at night

My heat was dead on
Always knew you would see me home
My heart, it knows
Your soul will always lead me on
My heart

You always know how to take a stand
To moderate like Superman
You mesmerize with your haunting smile
And your commanding style

You paralyze, you can read mind
You hypnotize with your super power
Your signals beam like a satellite
They thrill and mystify

My heat was dead on
Always knew you would see me home
My heart, it knows
Your soul will always lead me on

My heat was dead on
Always knew you would see me home
My heart, it knows
Your soul will always lead me on

My heat was dead on
Always knew you would see me home
My heart, it knows
Your soul will always lead me on

My heat was dead on
Always knew you would see me home
My heart, it knows
Your soul will always lead me on

about

Laurie Gordon (vocals, keyboards, guitars, bass, toys), the daughter of Hungarian immigrants, and Krassy Halatchev (bass, ... more vocals, guitars. drums, knobs), born and raised in Communist Bulgaria.
Within three months of their meeting, Krassy was being deported and Laurie had "no choice" but to save the band. What started out as a "green-card marriage" blossomed from desperate measures into true love. less
