lyrics

It's high noon and here I'm standing
At crossroads there is no pretending
My heart has stopped
My mind is locked

It's a blue noon and here I'm racing
With time and decision making
It's time to draw
There's no place to go

There was a time when I chose on the fly just with one sway
Now I'm confined with too much on my mind, caught in the fray

High noon
High noon

It's high noon, the clock hands are frozen
With no room for error or nonsense
I'm mortified
I'm stupefied

The sunbeam is beating my forehead
My fingers are trembling with cold sweat
I'm paralyzed
I'm hypnotized

There was a time when we saw our foes for what they were
We rose as one and we fought to the end like real men
Then came a time when it all seemed benign, stupid and bland
But now it is clear that they are to be feared and we must fend

There was a time when I chose on the fly just with one sway
Now I'm confined with too much on my mind, caught the fray
Staring the fiend straight in the eye I can now tell
He won't back down till he has found his way to hell

Within three months of their meeting, Krassy was being deported and Laurie had "no choice" but to save the band. What started out as a "green-card marriage" blossomed from desperate measures into true love.
